We're currently recruiting for a driven Business Development Manager to expand our client’s growth in Air and Ocean Freight in Tamworth, covering both import and export sectors. This role involves actively generating and pursuing new business opportunities while collaborating closely with the operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding for new clients. You'll play a key part in enhancing customer satisfaction and driving sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify and pursue new business leads through calls, emails, and targeted outreach, conducting meetings with potential new clients.
2. Manage tender opportunities from research through to proposal submission and follow-up.
3. Develop and manage a customer pipeline, account managing new & existing clients.
4. Promote a full range of services to new and existing customers, ensuring tailored solutions.
5. Prepare and submit weekly sales reports detailing client engagement.
6. Create and deliver quotes as needed, following up to secure business.
7. Communicate effectively across all levels to ensure a seamless client experience and support collective business goals.
8. Maintain accurate records in the sales management system, including customer information and activity updates.
For this role, you must have experience in sales (Air & Ocean Freight Services); Road Freight not essential but beneficial.
Monday – Friday 09:00-17:00
£40-45k + Benefits
