This is a great opportunity for a Supply Planner to join an innovative consumer goods brand. Our client supplies into the major retailers in the UK, Europe and the US. You will be responsible for ensuing the uninterrupted supply of products whilst maintaining optimal stock levels across the supply chain.
Supply Planner responsibilities:
* Overseeing and managing inventory levels to align with customer demand while minimizing surplus or obsolete stock, and implementing strategies to ensure efficient inventory turnover.
* Collaborating with manufacturing sites and key raw material suppliers to forecast and plan production and procurement in line with targeted stock level parameters.
* Leading initiatives to enhance planning operations and operational resilience, such as conducting raw material tenders, introducing new packaging formats, onboarding logistics providers, or driving improvements in operational KPIs.
* Establishing and nurturing strong partnerships with copackers, suppliers, and logistics providers to maintain a reliable and efficient supply chain for raw materials and finished goods.
* Assessing supplier performance and resolving any issues that arise to ensure seamless operations.
* Supporting the stock valuation and reconciliation process to align MRP systems with physical inventory holdings.
* Ensuring accurate reflection of upcoming productions and raw material purchases in cash flow forecasts.
