We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Carpenter (Door Inspection) to join our Operations Team. The purpose of this role is to ensure that CHP are compliant with fire door regulations and safety for all blocks and properties.This vacancy is for a 12 month fixed term contract.
What you’ll be doing
* Carry out fire door inspections to blocks (communal areas and front doors to properties) to established standards and regulations.
* Adjust and renew components to fire doors where required.
* Carry out the installation of new fire door sets, as per BRE Academy / BM Trada certification training.
* Conduct all work to comply with current health and safety (H&S) legislation and compliance policies, including manual handling, working at heights and asbestos awareness, with method statements and risk assessments undertaken where appropriate.
* Use a PDA and mobile software to receive and record works, ensuring that all system administration is accurate, up to date, accessible and comprehensive, in line with CHP procedures, data legislation and regulations.

* The salary for this post will be £39,795 Per Annum.

* 25 days annual leave per annum, plus bank holidays and 3 extra days between Christmas and New Year.
