Our client, M&E Contractor based in Kent who have been in the industry for over 40 years, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor. This role involves the management of contractual and financial aspects of M&E construction projects, including preparing Payment Applications, Cashflows, Monthly P&L Reports, and Cost Estimates. The ideal candidate will manage all key financials of contract management, ensuring projects are delivered on budget and meet quality standards.
Quantity Surveyor Job Overview
* Prepare and update project budgets and conduct cost analyses for various project stages.
* Prepare and management of contracts and procurement documentation and evaluate and negotiate contract terms with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
* Manage interim valuations and final accounts and monthly P & L Reports.
* Maintain accurate records of all projects related financial and contractual documents and prepare regular reports on project status, costs, and budget forecasts
Quantity Surveyor Job Requirements
1. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor (M&E) in a similar role (minimum 5 years)
2. Good Knowledge of construction contract law
3. Desirable to hold QS Degree
4. Able to demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of the necessity for financial regulatory controls
