Role and Responsibilities: The successful candidate will: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with special educational needs. Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) to support student progress. Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment. Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and parents to ensure holistic development. Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed. Contribute to the school’s ethos of excellence and innovation. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN), preferably within a school setting. Strong knowledge of SEN best practices, including autism spectrum conditions, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and engage students with diverse learning needs. A proactive, resilient, and nurturing approach to teaching.
