The role of the Reception Manager is to be customer facing at all times. You will be responsible for greeting guests, taking reservations and assisting in planning of special events. Your service will be to the highest quality and professionalism. To engage with guests, giving product information and advice. Further to this, the Reception Manager will lead the reception team to ensure the department meets our service standards consistently and competently support the wider Front of House Team. Ensures the highest professionalism and service. Take full control of reservations, overseeing and arranging bookings for a manageable service. Ability to use company booking systems, collect information and understand restaurant booking principles. Contact guests via telephone, email and booking platform in a courteous manner. Ensures great communication between departments in the venue, working together with the reception team. Adheres to company standards of service quality, preparation, and presentation. Ensures guests are served in a timely manner. Ensures readiness and makes priorities in case of last minute changes to reservations. Adheres to all health, sanitation and food safety rules and regulations. Ensures that all potential and real hazards are reported and reduced immediately. Ensures that employees work in a safe manner that does not harm or injure self or others. Anticipates possible and probable hazards and conditions and either corrects them or takes action to prevent them from happening. Keeps the highest standards of personal hygiene, dress, appropriate uniform, appearance, and conduct. Sets up for service by ensuring everything is set up for forecasted covers, special functions and all reservations. To carry out any other duties as directed by seniors management Required Attributes and Experience: 2 years’ Reception experience (preferable in a managerial role) in hospitality. Excellent command of English language (Written and spoken). Ability to communicate with customers and peers with a friendly and positive attitude. Self-motivated, continuously seeking to succeed and progress in career within the company. Computer literate. Extremely flexible and committed. Lively, enthusiastic and confident.
