Job summary We are looking to recruit a Private Patient Coordinator to join our Private Patient Department. The post holder will have a varied job function and will cover all aspects essential for the smooth co-ordination and running of the Trusts Private Patient Services. Main duties of the job The key tasks are the management from inception of the patient admission to completion/discharge. This will encompass the identification of the patients admission pathway; liaison with insurers, patients, consultant, secretaries and operational specialties and co-ordination of data pertaining to each patient admission. A high level of organisational skills is required to correlate data specific to each patient admission as well has having understanding of financial transactions, strong prioritisation and communication skills to facilitate the Private Patients Co-ordinator Lead in all private patient services in the Trust.
