Divisional Head of Operations, North - North Based - ARD1085753 AIB LI-RK1 InsuranceBroker Are you an experienced and dynamic leader with a passion for operational excellence? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Divisional Head of Operations to join our Senior Leadership Team. You will have worked in an Insurance Broking setting in a senior role before and have a good understanding of the workings of an insurance broking business. This critical role will see you leading regional operational teams across multiple branches, driving change and improving operational performance to support the overall divisional business plan. Reporting directly to the Divisional GI Managing Director you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of a compliant, effective, and value-added operational service. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the GI Operations Director to develop and implement divisional operational change strategies aligned with business standards and frameworks. Drive operational effectiveness and efficiency, improving P&L, increasing income, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Lead operational change management across multiple sites, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and delivering best practices. Oversee operational performance, monitor KPIs, and report findings to Senior Leadership Team. Manage risk, governance, and compliance to ensure the team adheres to FCA regulations and internal policies. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, insurers, and suppliers. Inspire and motivate your team, ensuring professional development, clear objectives, and effective performance management. Promote a cost-efficient culture and ensure financial governance is maintained across the division. What We Are Looking For: Strong experience in managing operational teams and driving change across multi-site organizations. Previous knowledge and experience using Acturis system is preferable A proven track record of improving operational efficiency, delivering operational strategies, and achieving financial goals. Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and motivate teams. In-depth knowledge of risk management, governance, and FCA compliance requirements. Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, and senior leadership. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
