Overview
Park & Recharge are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an account support co-ordinator for our Charge Point Operator (CPO) firm, specialising in electric vehicle (EV) charging services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The role will involve providing support to our customers, as well as assisting colleagues with administrative tasks. This will be a full-time role predominantly based at the Park & Recharge main office in Chelmsford Essex, with an element of hybrid working (up to 2 days a week remote working).
Reporting to the Head of Operations for Park & Recharge, the role will mainly be the support of customer accounts, with the following responsibilities:
1. Serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing timely and professional support.
2. Routinely liaise with our customers to assist with issues, providing technical assistance, and plan software developments.
3. Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer concerns and ensure timely resolution.
4. Process customer requests, including but not limited to, account renewals, billing inquiries, and service requests.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and documentation.
6. Stay up-to-date on the latest products, services, and policies to provide accurate information to customers.
7. Collaborate with colleagues to streamline customer support processes and improve overall customer experience.
8. Provide feedback to management on recurring customer issues and potential areas for improvement.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
The ideal (desirable, but not essential) requirements for a candidate are as follows:
1. Previous experience in customer support or account management roles.
2. Experience in the EV charging industry.
3. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical customers.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer complaints and inquiries in a professional and efficient manner.
5. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
7. Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and other support tools.
8. Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks effectively.
9. Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to changing customer needs.
Desirable but not essential
1. Valid driving license (facility to get to/from our office please check out our location).
2. A Levels Or Other Appropriate Qualifications Such As GNVQs.
3. An interest in Electric vehicles, renewable energy and sustainability.
