Job summary Barking, Havering & Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking to recruit an experienced Named Nurse, Safeguarding Children, to join a well-established Safeguarding Team. This is a 12-months fixed contract for maternity cover. The right individual must have an acute trust background and be able to demonstrate an in depth knowledge of current safeguarding children legislation, guidance and practice as well as being enthusiastic, motivated and highly experienced. This post it only open to Registered Children Nurses Main duties of the job The post holder will be instrumental in ensuring that there effective safeguarding arrangements and practice for our most vulnerable children admitted under our care. You will be responsible for providing excellent visible leadership, knowledge and expertise in relation to the safeguarding of children, promoting good practice, whilst keeping children at the heart of all professional practice.
