Team Overview
BlackRock's global Alternatives business includes the firm's investment capabilities across Real Estate, Infrastructure, Hedge Funds, Private Equity and Credit. BlackRock Alternatives currently manages over $300 billion in total assets and client commitments with a team of over 1,300 professionals.
Alternative Client Platform (ACP) is primarily responsible for delivering client reporting and fundraising support in partnership with our investment, client, and operational teams.
Responsibilities
Client Reporting
* Coordination and production of formal quarterly reporting packages using portfolio-level and market updates.
* Reporting data management.
* Coordination of quarterly custom investor reporting.
* Coordination of regulatory reporting.
Due Diligence Support
* Data room management.
* Maintenance of our standard RFP answer library.
* RFP production in conjunction with Product Strategy.
* Coordination of customized client due diligence requests.
* Completion of industry surveys and consultant questionnaires.
Fundraising Support
* Maintain and update product pitchbooks and other standard marketing collateral.
* Submit materials through the central compliance system.
* Quarterly update of performance and track record information.
* Work closely with senior IR professionals to ensure meeting follow-ups are completed.
Client Communications
* Answering client queries.
* Coordination of Annual LP event planning.
* Coordination and preparation of fund webcasts.
* Preparation and coordination of formal investor communications.
* Coordination of secondary sales and transfer process.
Client Support
* Client data management including maintenance of demographics and statistics.
* Client Record Management.
Product Management
* Coordination of fund closings with partner teams.
* Support for side letter negotiations.
* Coordinate and attend fund board meetings.
Operations
* Support and investigate technology and process options.
* Drive projects to enhance productivity.
Key Qualifications
* BA/BS required.
* Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Meticulous attention to detail.
* High proficiency in Excel.
* Desire to learn the investment management industry.
* 0-3 years of experience (analyst); 3+ years of experience in financial services (associate).
