About the Role
Housing Solutions exists to provide high-quality housing advice services while actively working to develop, implement and deliver sustainable housing solutions.
We’re committed to addressing housing need and homelessness, creating innovative housing options and building strong partnerships with landlords and stakeholders across the city.
The Private Rented Housing Manager will actively and effectively develop new housing options, and promote new and existing options to people in need of housing. The role also involves making sure that suitable permanent accommodation is provided for citizens at risk of homelessness.

Key priorities will include:
5. Experience as a service leader in a complex organisation, with experience of delivering against outcomes, creating clear objectives and creating a culture of continuous improvement
6. A collaborative leader, with evidence of successfully fostering and harnessing partnerships across different sectors, and developing a culture of collaboration
7. Comprehensive and up to date working knowledge of housing legislation in both the public and private sector and up to date working knowledge and understanding of homelessness legislation & homelessness prevention initiatives
8. Effective budget management through an understanding of the principles of financial management including preparation, monitoring and best value
