As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing support to schools on short-term or long-term assignments. We offer FREE CPD training courses, including Safeguarding and Autism Awareness, to equip you with the skills necessary to support children effectively. Candidates from Healthcare, Social Care, or Care Worker backgrounds are also welcome to apply.
Responsibilities of the Supply Teaching Assistant include, but are not limited to:
* Excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with students and staff.
* Providing support to children in various school settings on a flexible basis.
* Maintaining a positive attitude towards teaching and aiding children's development.

Job Specifications for the Supply Teaching Assistant:
* Supervise and provide learning support for children in small groups and one-to-one settings.
* Assist with teaching and learning in the classroom.
* Help develop individual education and behavioural plans, setting challenging goals for pupils.
* Build trusting relationships with pupils, adapting to different school environments.
* Encourage pupils to engage with the class and participate in activities.
Person Specification:
* Hold a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
* Experience in a classroom-based setting or similar role.
* Be outgoing, fun, and engaging.
* Willing to support children of all abilities and needs in various school settings.
* Have a positive and flexible attitude towards supply work.
