Trusts Fundraising Officer, Charity, Home based up to c£23k + benefits
Fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate (English, History, etc) with excellent writing and communications skills or someone who has started their career already as a fundraiser to join this national charity. The role can be based out of London or East Anglia offices, though there is a significant opportunity for home working so candidates will need to only be accessible to one of these offices as required. Working within a hugely supportive team, you will report to a Senior Trusts Officer who will mentor you in your professional development, your main responsibilities will include:
1. Proactively identify trust and statutory funding sources, research them for suitability.
2. Write high quality applications to trusts and statutory funders.
3. Provide high quality account management meeting monitoring and reporting requirements, maximising income generation and relationship longevity.
4. Engage with other members of the fundraising team, in order to maximise fundraising opportunities
5. With the support of more senior staff, participate in the development of strategy, planning and tactics in relation to trusts and statutory fundraising.
6. Maintain files (paper, electronic and database) of correspondence and notes of meetings with funders, as appropriate.
7. Identify own personal learning and development needs and seek opportunities to address them.
8. Other responsibilities relevant to the purpose of the role as required by the line manager.
