Location: This role could be based in either our Wythall, Edinburgh or London offices with time spent working in the office and at home.

The role
This is a key role within the function, offering a great opportunity to support the management of Phoenix Policyholder Funds; covering all aspects of investment, operations, stakeholder management, stewardship and development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work with and support Head of With Profits Portfolio Management and wider team in delivering optimal outcomes for our With Profits policyholders.
2. Support the development and delivery of investment strategy, performance, portfolio construction and manager change as it relates to With Profits Policyholder Funds.
3. Responsible for BAU and ad-hoc issues effecting With Profits Policyholder business.
4. Assist in stakeholder management to include representation at governance forums, committees and independent oversight bodies as required.
5. Act as an Asset Management interface for Policyholder Investment Office with internal teams including Pensions and Savings, Finance, Compliance, Risk and Actuarial.
6. Assess, design and implement consolidation and harmonisation strategies
7. Work with Asset Management colleagues on areas such Investment Strategy/Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) implementation, performance analysis, and integration of Sustainability and ESG
What are we looking for?
8. Some progress in a relevant professional qualification (or willingness to pursue) and/or applicable work experience.
9. Broad understanding of all investment management, investment operations, regulatory environment, evolution, policyholder outcomes and product types.
10. Some understanding of asset classes across equities, fixed income and alternatives (illiquids) and their application in With Profits Funds.
11. Experience of interacting with stakeholders across multiple disciplines. Actuarial, Finance, Operations and Risk.
12. Some knowledge of investment markets, investment strategy and fund management methodologies as they apply to With Profits
13. Broad understanding of legal, tax and regulatory environment.
