Vacancy | Head of Operations
Location: This is a hybrid role with opportunities to work remotely from the Berks & Bucks FA office (Milton Park, OX14 4SB), home and around the County.
Salary: Band 2 (£43,260 - £51,912) per annum, dependent on experience. Hours: 35 hours per week. (Requirement to work evenings and weekends in line with the demands of the role.)
Contract: Full time - Permanent.
The opportunity
As Head of Operations, you will be responsible, along side the CEO, for the day-to-day operations of Berks & Bucks Football Association.
Berks & Bucks FA is seeking to appoint a dynamic and business driven Head of Operations to drive growth and efficiency, in turn, supporting the growth & quality of grassroots football across the Counties of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire & parts of Oxfordshire. The postholder will report directly to the CEO and will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team.
This is a critical leadership position and an exciting opportunity to put a range of experiences and skills into practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for a team who are central to operations in Human Resources, Safeguarding, Finance, Office Management, Commercial/Partnerships, and Communication. Candidates will be able to demonstrate proven ability in leadership, strategic planning, and operational delivery within a SME environment. They will be an outstanding communicator and collaborator. The successful candidate will also display an energetic, positive, and creative outlook.
Main responsibilities
• Assist in the compilation of the County business plan and strategy.
• Delivery of objectives of the Association's business plans and strategy in partnership with the staff team.
• Development and presentation of proffers reports for regular monitoring and evaluation.
• Development and implementation of the Association's communications and commercial strategies.
• Support the CEO with human resource management, including the implementation of staff practices and procedures
• Ensure the Company's facilities are maintained and resourced.
• Lead on the development of a data and insight strategy for the future of Berks & Bucks FA.
