Cheers to dreaming big The role: Reporting to the Brewery Manager, you will be accountable for Utility services to the operational departments, Brewery Energy and Fluid performance, Engineering Maintenance Costs, Delegated CAPEX spend, and the owner of the Maintenance Pillar. Duties & Responsibilities: Deploys and optimizes operating practices, KPI generation, and VPO tools to support department performance, set strategic goals, and drive energy and cost optimization. Accountable for utility operations, engineering stores, energy use, and maintaining brewery automation and cyber security standards. Leads improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, and problem-solving within departments, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and adherence to safety and quality compliance. Manages capital projects and budgets, coordinating submissions, cost control, and project completion while fostering cost-saving strategies and service-level improvements. Accountable for maintenance costs, monthly reporting accuracy, and MCRS KPI delivery across maintenance, energy, and utilities. Defines team skill profiles, creates training plans, and ensures effective delivery of department briefings and compliance with site recognition policies. Manages industrial relations and change initiatives, fostering a collaborative and transparent work culture. Partners with suppliers and business functions on contracts, equipment coordination, and innovations, ensuring SLA compliance. Ensures all activities meet SLA, safety, and legal standards (e.g., Pressure systems and L8), and promotes safe working practices. Acts as a role model in the department, walking the floor to engage with staff, motivate teams, and uphold a culture aligned with the ten principles and company values.
