About the Role:
Location: Maghull
Start Date: April (Temporary position) until July 2025.
Setting: Working in an autism class with children of mixed ages and needs
Trial Day Available: We would love to invite suitable candidates for a trial day ASAP.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Supporting children with autism in their learning and development
✅ Providing a safe, structured, and engaging environment
✅ Assisting with individual learning plans tailored to each child's needs
✅ Working closely with teachers and support staff to deliver high-quality education
✅ Encouraging social, emotional, and communication skills in a positive way
✅ Helping with daily routines, classroom activities, and personal care (if required)
Who We’re Looking For:
✔️ Experience working with children with additional needs (preferred but not essential)
✔️ A patient, caring, and understanding approach
✔️ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔️ A passion for supporting children’s learning and well-being
✔️ Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or SEND (desirable but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
