About the role:
As a Digital Marketing Executive, you will play a pivotal role in building, executing, and optimising our digital marketing strategy to achieve key business objectives and elevate our Lifestyle Financial Planning proposition. You will develop and implement a robust digital marketing plan that aligns with our overall strategic marketing goals, driving brand awareness and business growth.
You will take the lead on Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, delivering actionable insights to enhance the client experience and boost engagement. Working closely with external consultants and agencies, you'll manage and optimise paid digital channels ensuring that we maximise performance. Your expertise in SEO will help increase our brand visibility and drive organic website traffic. You'll continuously refine the customer journey, from landing page enhancements to content development and A/B testing to maximise conversion rates.
A key part of your role will be to champion our client portal and new propositions through creative digital marketing techniques. You’ll also manage the end-to-end process of capturing and utilising customer data for lead generation and sales. You will bring a proactive approach to digital best practices, simplifying complex concepts, and raising the profile of digital marketing within the business. With a naturally curious mindset, you will stay ahead of emerging digital trends, adapting strategies as needed to maintain a competitive edge.
About you:
You are a proactive Digital Marketing Executive with experience developing and executing digital marketing plans that drive real business results. You excel in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, SEO, and managing paid advertising on Google and social media platforms, either directly or through external agencies. Experience with CRM software is essential for this role.
You have a strong analytical mindset, creating clear performance dashboards with actionable insights for website, PPC, SEO, and social media performance. You are highly organised, with the ability to manage projects and workloads accurately and deliver on-brand and on-budget campaigns. You are a confident verbal and written communicator with an ability to simplify digital marketing concepts, share knowledge effectively, and contribute to raising the profile of digital marketing within the business.
Main responsibilities:
1. Develop a digital marketing plan to support delivery of the business and brand outcomes that is aligned to the overall strategic marketing plan.
2. Manage the creation of copy and content manage it through approval processes.
3. Lead on Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to report on performance and deliver insight to improve the customer experience and generate more sales.
4. Manage a team of external consultants or agencies to maximise performance of paid digital marketing channels such as Google search and social media and to manage the budget for these areas.
5. Utilise Hubspot and relevant tasks to maximise productivity.
6. Maintain and update content on the Attivo website.
7. Develop and execute a Search Engine Optimisation plan to improve the visibility of our brands and organic traffic to our website.
8. Create, develop schedule and manage social media content creation across all platforms.
9. Deliver digital marketing campaigns on time, on brand and on budget.
10. Take ownership of sourcing, capturing, and using potential customer data for marketing purposes to generate leads and sales.
11. Report weekly and monthly on performance against KPI’s for Website, PPC, SEO, and Social Media in a clear, visual dashboard with recommended actions.
Essential skills and experience:
1. At least 3 years of experience working within a similar role.
2. Evidence of having built a digital marketing plan and executing this with tangible, positive results for a business.
3. Ability to manage own time, projects, and workload accurately.
4. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with multiple stakeholders.
5. Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
6. Experience in managing Google and social media advertising.
7. Experience in the use of Marketing CRM software.
8. Experience with HubSpot and a strong sense of accountability in managing CRM and marketing automation tasks.
9. Experience with WordPress and/or other CMSs.
10. Experience in SEO.
11. Strong organisational skills and ability to work with high levels of accuracy.
12. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write well-articulated documents.
13. Ability to work collaboratively within a team, and with management agencies.
14. 5 GCSEs graded A-B (or equivalent), including Maths and English.
Desirable skills and experience:
1. Educated to degree level would be desirable.
2. Experience of Intelligent Office.
3. Relevant professional qualification.
Salary and benefits:
Between £30,000 to £40,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
