Nursery/Reception Teacher

* Job Type: Part-time (Maternity Cover)
* Salary: £162.31 - £207.38 per day, depending on experience
* Duration: Starting March 2025, for the duration of the maternity leave
We are seeking a dedicated Nursery/Reception Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis to cover a maternity leave. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and is looking for a flexible working schedule. The successful candidate will work Mondays and Tuesdays (full days) and Wednesday afternoons.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons suitable for nursery and reception-aged children.
* Create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters learning and development.
* Assess and record children’s progress, and provide feedback to parents and caregivers.
* Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the educational environment.
* Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of children.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience in early years education.
* Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* A passion for teaching and a commitment to providing high-quality education.
