Job Title: 1:1 SEN Outreach Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Tilbury Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: The 1:1 SEN Outreach Tutor will provide tailored educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a one-on-one setting. Duties include developing personalised learning plans, delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to students and their families. The tutor will also collaborate with school staff and external agencies to ensure the best possible support for each student. Required Qualifications: - A relevant teaching qualification - Experience working with students with SEN - Strong communication and interpersonal skills Education: A degree in Education or a related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years working in a similar role Knowledge and Skills: - In-depth understanding of SEN strategies and interventions - Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs - Proficiency in creating and implementing individual education plans Preferred Qualifications: - Additional SEN training or certifications - Experience using assistive technology in education Working Conditions: The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The tutor will primarily work in a home or community setting, providing support to students with SEN. Some travel may be required to attend meetings or training sessions.
