The Opportunity We are looking for a Consultant Test Analyst to join our growing team and work on varied testing assignments across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, test automation, integration testing, and performance testing in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll work with different clients, business applications, and technical landscapes, making every project unique. Key Responsibilities Conduct functional system testing, integration testing (including APIs), and support UAT across diverse projects. Work closely with project managers, developers, and business analysts to ensure quality assurance at every stage. Produce high-quality test documentation, including test plans, test cases, scripts, and summary reports. Apply best practices in manual and automated testing to improve test efficiency and effectiveness. Work across agile and waterfall project environments. Support test automation and performance testing initiatives using tools such as Playwright, JMeter, and similar frameworks. Essential Skills & Experience: 3-5 years of experience in functional testing within enterprise environments. Strong integration testing experience, particularly with APIs. Solid knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies. Proven experience working on varied projects across different technical environments. ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Desirable Skills & Experience Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, RestAssured). Exposure to test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress). Performance testing knowledge (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). Experience in the Higher Education or Legal sector would be highly beneficial.
