Job summary We are a large successful training practice across two dispensing sites with a practice owned on site Pharmacy and an award-winning research team. Main duties of the job We introduced telephone consulting over 8 years ago. We have continually improved our system to achieve good patient access and satisfaction; whilst still allowing the GPs to remain in control of their workload and their day. We have worked hard to reduce the level of administrative work for our GPs through our skilled Medical Secretary team processing tasks, E-Consults and medical reports; Medicines Optimisation team dealing with medication queries and reconciliation; clinical support to help reduce pathology processing and an Administrative Support team to assist with QOF, systems, coding and data. We encourage all our staff to take opportunities to develop other interests to enhance their day-to-day general practice. We would encourage any new GPs to develop other skills that would contribute to the practice or work with us on any of the following: Training GP registrars, F2 doctors, medical students, pharmacists, and nurses.
