We are currently recruiting for Line Leaders to join our Bromborough Production team.
Your role as a Line Leader will be to assist Area Managers with the safe and efficient running of your production line, meeting customer quality requirements whilst delivering the production plan to budget.
Your job will include (but not limited to):
1. Assist your manager to ensure 100% adherence to plan while producing product at the correct quality standards in line with customer specifications.
2. Responsible for ensuring that the elements of the production line are ready for commencement of production, including calibration of the slicer, setup of de-nester including the correct product tray, seal, label, OCM.
3. Responsible for the collection of the relevant label cage from stores and the subsequent setting up of the line including scale and baskets referencing the price sheet.
4. Ensuring the raw material is checked prior to use for quality in line with the product/customer specification.
5. Completing necessary production paperwork, including downtime sheet, waste sheet, and traceability sheet.
6. Responsible for ensuring that GMP is adhered to at all times and that the production area meets the expected walk away standards, prior to shift end.
7. Maintaining factory hygiene standards and encouraging others to do the same, ensuring the site is audit ready at all times.
8. Responsible for label checks and driving efficiencies, ensuring that yields and giveaways are in line with standard, escalating when deviation from standard occurs.
9. Check and monitor processes making recommendations for any adjustments necessary to achieve product and process specification, and daily try to improve line efficiencies.
10. Completes all tasks efficiently and in line with SOP, including training out to new starters or agency colleagues.
11. Ensuring product quality is continuously monitored through the shift, communicating effectively to operatives so they are fully aware of quality requirements and issues.
12. Monitoring of yield in line with line schematics, reducing waste.
You will work any 5 over 6 days, from 07.00am – 15.30pm with a 30-minute paid break.
