Working autonomously, with indirect supervision, you will prioritise and plan your own caseload according to the needs of the patient and resources available. You can gain advice and support from a Senior AHP when required; clinical work is not routinely monitored by others.
Working with the Team Leader/AHP managers, you will proactively contribute to discussions on service and policy development and implement them in the workplace as directed.
Ensure the effective, efficient, and safe prescription of standard and specialised community equipment to meet patient needs in a timely manner. Educate relatives/carers in the correct use of prescribed equipment when appropriate.
You will be responsible for the effective manual and computer recording of patient interventions accurately and appropriately, following Service/Trust Policy.
