NHS Property Services (NHSPS) is dedicated to enabling excellent patient care by serving as a trusted property advisor to the NHS. We are committed to providing the best estate solutions, ensuring that our healthcare facilities are optimised for efficiency and effectiveness.
We proudly manage a diverse portfolio of 2,700 properties across England, catering to the needs of 6,300 customers. This extensive portfolio represents approximately 10% of the total NHS estate. Our properties range from historic listed buildings to state-of-the-art integrated care centres, encompassing hospitals, GP practices, and administrative offices.
As an Estates Delivery Partner, you will be instrumental in actualising the NHSPS strategy within your designated region. You will be entrusted with managing a substantial budget and overseeing 110 properties. Leading a large team of dedicated professionals, your role will be pivotal in ensuring that the NHSPS vision and strategy are clearly communicated and embraced by your team. By driving excellence in estate management, you will contribute to the overall mission of NHSPS, ensuring that our healthcare facilities continue to support the delivery of outstanding patient care.
What you will do
You will be instrumental in developing and implementing both short and long-term plans, driving continuous improvement, and tackling inefficiencies head-on. Embracing and embedding technology will be key to achieving our business outcomes, and you will ensure that service delivery meets the highest standards of performance.
Collaboration will be at the heart of your role, working closely with other business units and functions to design and implement effective customer engagement strategies. You will also be on hand to manage any escalated incidents out of hours, ensuring that our emergency preparedness and response processes are robust and effective. You will also be responsible to:
1. Clearly communicate the NHSPS vision and strategy to ensure all team members and stakeholders understand and are aligned with the organisational goals.
2. Actively participate in developing and implementing team strategies, providing insights and recommendations to achieve objectives.

9. Ensure high-quality service delivery that meets customer expectations and contractual obligations, while managing budgets and expenditures to maintain financial health.
10. Represent NHSPS positively to external stakeholders, building and maintaining strong relationships to support the organisation's mission.
11. Maintain strong customer relationships by addressing concerns and feedback promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
12. Handle escalated incidents outside regular hours, ensuring timely and effective responses to minimise impact.
