Role Overview: As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will lead the electrical and technical designs for a range of projects, with a specific emphasis on retail developments. You’ll collaborate with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our designs meet industry standards and client requirements. Responsibilities: Lead and manage electrical design projects from concept to completion. Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide innovative solutions. Develop detailed electrical designs, including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments. Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. Review and approve technical documentation. Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional development. Experience Required: Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design within the construction industry. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software. Knowledge of British Standards (BS 7671) and relevant regulations. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
