Band 6 Occupational Therapist within Community Learning Disabilities in Hereford, UK, earning £26 per hour on an ongoing contract. Full-time and part-time will be considered. What you will do:
1. Assess and plan interventions for individuals with learning disabilities to enhance their daily living skills.
2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalised care plans.
3. Provide advice and training to family members and carers to support individuals' well-being.
4. Conduct assessments in clients' homes and community settings to create supportive environments.
5. Track and evaluate clients' progress and adjust interventions as needed.
Requirements for the Occupational Therapist:
1. Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
2. Recent experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the UK.
3. Recent NHS experience.
4. Registered with the HCPC.
5. Experience in community settings.
6. Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities.
7. A current driving license is preferable.
