Data Analytics Engineer (12-Month FTC)

£45,000 - £55,000

Role Purpose:
This role is crucial for ensuring that marketing teams have structured, reliable data to analyze performance, compare metrics, and make data-driven decisions. By centralizing data and ensuring it's well-processed, you will help the business make informed decisions and optimize its marketing strategies.
This role focuses on organizing and consolidating data for marketing and analytics. You will work across global projects to centralize and streamline data from multiple sources into one platform for better accessibility and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and manage data pipelines from various sources into BigQuery using SQL
* Support and enhance data architecture
* Handle large volumes of data across international markets, considering diverse regulations and laws
* Act as the bridge between marketing and engineering teams to ensure smooth data flow and effective communication
Required Skills & Experience:
* Strong foundation in digital marketing, with hands-on experience using Google Analytics (GA and GA4) to track and analyze key performance metrics across digital campaigns.
* Proficient in engineering principles, particularly with SQL, and significant experience in developing and maintaining data pipelines to integrate, transform, and load data from various sources into centralized data platforms like BigQuery, Snowflake, or Databricks.
* Ability to work with large, complex datasets and optimize queries for efficiency.
* Experience with data architecture and ensuring data quality and reliability.
* Global data exposure is a plus, but not a requirement for the role.
