Prestie Staffing is seeking to hire a Senior Support Worker to add to the growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Service Manager with the setting up of a new service, recruiting staff, ensuring the correct documentation is in place around H&S, medication, finance, IT, service user and staff files, policies & procedures, auditing systems. What you'll need to succeed Understanding of current social care legislation, the Care Standards Act 2000 and CQC standards. Level 3 qualification in Care or equivalent. Good communication skills Time/Workload management skills Excellent literacy and numeracy skills Good aptitude, common sense, skills and abilities around working with people who have support needs Competent to carry out all the tasks required by the job description e.g. personal care, manual handing.
