A dynamic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to lead and drive high-impact initiatives within a public sector environment. This role involves overseeing the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, strategic oversight, and exceptional organisational skills, ensuring seamless collaboration with key stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
The successful candidate will be expected to deliver on the following objectives:
Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of major projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Monitor project progress, proactively identifying risks and implementing effective solutions.
Develop and manage project plans, covering scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to drive efficient delivery.
Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project execution and compliance.
Undertake additional responsibilities as required, in line with the role's scope.
Provide clear and timely updates to key stakeholders, including senior leadership, through reports and presentations.
Ensure transparency and accountability in all project-related activities and decision-making.
Ability to undertake site visits.Experience required:
Experience delivering large scale projects in construction or the public sector.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven experience of project management techniques and tools.
PRINCE2 qualification.
experience in applying NEC3/4 contracts.
Full UK driving license & own vehicle
