Join our rapidly growing business in a new role as Visits and Events Assistant focusing primarily planning, preparation and delivery of visits and events typically hosted in our Visitor Centre in our Trowbridge-based head office. Our Visitor Centre hosts guests several times a week across all walks of life from specialists such as Facilities Managers and Dietitians to Politicians, Councillors and CEOs. Working alongside our Visits and Events Co-ordinator, this role plays a pivotal role in planning, organising and hosting a VIP experience for our visitors in our dedicated facility. Administration of Visits: Plan and organise visits in our Visitor Centre including menu management and planning, agenda building and presenter booking whilst communicating and collaborating with internal visit hosts. Hosting Visits: Prepare the Visitor Centre space for each visit. Ensure the space is always clean, tidy and showcasing the business at its best at all times. Ensuring you present yourself professionally to all guests. Meal Preparation: Plan, cook, present and serve meals across the vast apetito | Wiltshire Farm Foods portfolio to guests. Maintain an outstanding level of food safety and cleanliness in the space’s dedicated kitchen. Internal Events: Supporting internal events such as corporate conferences and inductions with top tier dining experiences. Tech support: Develop familiarity and competency with the technology within the Visitor Centre featuring immersive screens, presentation TVs and video conferencing equipment, alongside our internal IT department to ensure the seamless experience for all guests. Wider Business Support : The apetito Marketing team support and collaborate with the wider business on numerous other projects so you will be expected to step outside the visits and events world and contribute across other facets of Marketing. This role will require you to support numerous ad hoc requests so flexibility and adaptability is essential. Please note this is a part time role for three days a week. We are ideally looking for someone felixible to work on the weekdays where visits are booked. Essential: Demonstratable experience in customer service. Strong organisation skills. A strong eye for detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both digitally and face-to-face. Proactive collaboration and support across the business. Computer literacy (particularly Microsoft Word, Outlook and Teams) Desirable: Experience working in a commercial kitchen. Food presentation skills. Food hygiene qualification. Driving licence.
