Job Description:
* The candidate will be responsible to lead various Fixed Income Commodity Projects required to support business growth. Focus will be to migrate to strategic system from legacy system, support industry mandates, and a variety of business enabled Front to Back Projects.
* The candidate will be required to
* Serve as the project manager and business analyst and be accountable for overseeing multiple projects through multiple phases with ultimate responsibility for successful delivery of the assigned project on-time and in budget.
* Take responsibility for the definition and realization of project business case including cost and risk reduction opportunities and conceive innovative strategic solutions through software delivery, re-engineering opportunities or other business transformation activity, through connection with external bodies and industry forums and appropriate.
* Effectively collaborate multiple regional stakeholders including Sales and Trading, Legal and compliance, Risk Management, Technology, Finance and Operations line teams for delivering a front to back lifecycle changes.
* Report accurate progress, risks, and issues; ensure benefits and tracked and realized; and manage and maintain vendor relationship in order to deliver on projects.
* Design and Deliver Operating Model Concepts; develop strong partnerships with IT colleagues to design, develop and implement technology solutions.
* Understand the detail of industry and Regulatory change driving projects, participate in industry forums.
Skills required:
* To excel as an Agile Business Analyst in this domain, candidates must possess a blend of technical competence and business-industry domain knowledge. Key skills include:
* Data Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing complex data sets to derive actionable insights.Software Skills: Expertise in tools such as Microsoft Excel and Tableau.Documentation: Ability to document processes involved in the software development life cycle effectively.Strong communication skills – particularly in written documentation (user stories, operating procedures, process flow mapping etc.)
* Experience in managing relationships with senior clients.
* Strong attention to requirements gathering, discussion and delivery.
* Prior process improvement, business analysis, and project management experience
* Clear understanding of business analysis approaches and concepts
* Experience in defining business requirements.
* Experience in managing and executing testing activities, production checkout.
* Ability to deal with ambiguity and define approaches to bring un-focused issues to resolution.
* Strong Agile experience, JIRA, Confluence, User Story, Acceptance Criteria, Visio and Signavio process tools, UI Framework experience
* Strong sense of ownership and accountability
* Knowledge SQL queries is highly preferred.
* Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI and Alteryx will be an added advantage

Applying Business Analysis Practices: Dedicating significant time (up to 83%) to applying business analysis practices across various projects and programs.
Providing Solutions for Business Development: Offering solutions that drive business growth by leveraging analytical insights.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience/knowledge within an operation related to environment. They will be a confident analytical person with excellent oral and written communication skills. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
* 6-7 years of proven experience as Business Analyst in Investment Bank Domain
* Qualified at degree level or equivalent industry experience (Fixed Income Commodity)
* Aptitude to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to handle volume spikes and prioritize work including ad-hoc request and projects to meet business demands in a timely manner.
* Ability to recognize potential risk issues and escalate/report on a timely basis.
* Adaptability and flexibility, ability to perform under pressure or in changing environment.
* Outstanding attention to details and analytical ability
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), Visio and Signavio process flow tools
* Self-driven, capable of performing day to day activities with minimal guidance supervision.
* Ability to influence stakeholders and gain consensus across different groups.
* Experience of managing Ops/ Tech projects through agile
* Experience of managing large data projects, data lineage and data quality
Preferred Qualifications:
* Certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)
* Experience working specifically within the fixed income commodity domain
* Familiarity with agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
