SCP 7 i.e. 87.45% of £25,584 = £22,373 per annum

The Head and Governing Body of the successful, caring and friendly Welsh medium school above is looking for a reliable, efficient and organized school clerk to run the school's busy office. Staff want a colleague who is enthusiastic, motivated and active to join the school team and support the school's daily work efficiently. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
The successful candidate will:
1. take a leading role in the development and maintenance of records/information systems including SIMS, Plasc
2. carry out general day-to-day procedures
3. assist in developing positive relationships with the parents
4. manage computerized and manual records/information systems
5. undertake complex financial administration procedures
6. contact parents and carers regarding lunch money balances and any relevant welfare issues
The successful candidate will also be:
1. very organized with excellent interpersonal skills
2. welcome to the school community and visitors
3. able to work effectively as part of a dedicated and active team
4. able to demonstrate excellent ICT, literacy and numeracy skills
5. knowledgeable about the processes of the school system
6. able to show a high level of personal initiative
7. reliable and professional
