Together, we provide solutions for our clients that drives consideration of social outcomes at every point in a project's lifecycle, to achieve more value for all. About the opportunity: We are looking for an experienced consultant in social value/social outcomes responsible for supporting our clients to develop innovative approaches to delivering improved outcomes for society. You will play a key role in further developing our social outcomes, equity and health capabilities and solutions for clients, including upskilling our teams and supporting work winning for the business. Jacobs has a large portfolio of long-term contracts working on some of the UK and Ireland's prestigious projects across a vast array of sectors, from nuclear to transport. We want to grow our social outcomes capabilities to meet this ever-increasing portfolio of projects, and we are looking for enthusiastic, adaptable staff to join this highly successful team. Thought leadership and innovation - lead the development of new thinking in social value and help position Jacobs as a leader in this space. Technical expertise - provide guidance to both clients and the team on approaches to maximise social value across a project lifecycle or business operation. Complex Analysis - Identify and understand local, regional and national trends relating to social value and develop appropriate solutions.in a sustainable way that create lasting positive legacies for the communities we serve. Stakeholder engagement - management of strategic internal and external stakeholder, to deliver social value. This include forming partnerships with public and third sector stakeholders to maximise outcomes. Strategy development - design, develop and lead social value strategies aligned to local, industry and client needs. Design, procurement and contractual levers for social value - working with clients to identify "leavers" for social value and providing guidance on how to use these to maximise outcomes. This includes providing strategic advice on design, procurement, and contractual clauses to embed social value throughout the lifecycle of the project/programme. Reporting, measurement, and assurance - experience in the principals and application of social value measurement on large complex projects, including ongoing monitoring, assurance and evaluation of social value outcomes Mentoring and line management - you may have responsibility for mentoring and line management more junior members of the team, including providing guidance and training in social value to develop the team's capabilities.
