Role: Internal Sales / Customer Account Specialist
Salary: £26,500 (£35,000 per annum with OTE) + Benefits (23 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension scheme, life assurance, bonus, share scheme)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am till 4:30pm
Location: Commutable from Mansfield, Nuthall, Matlock, Little Eaton, Derby and Nottingham and surrounding areas

This superb UK manufacturing company with staff numbers over 100+ and growing, provides various engineered products and equipment to the Construction & Facilities Management industries, specifically environmental solutions that are utilized extensively within Commercial Buildings across the UK.
Whilst their products may be technical, we do not require someone from a technical background. Training will be provided, and others in the team have not come from a technical background and love the job they do.
Whilst working in a rather large company, it is a small, young, dynamic and loyal team of 7 staff members.
Responsibilities
1. Reporting to the Sales Office Manager you will be a key member of the Team.
2. Responsible for generating new enquiries and developing customer relationships, progressing projects to order, and providing quotes and technical advice for customer accounts within an agreed territory.
3. Acting as first point of contact for all sales enquiries and orders received via phone and email, in a timely and professional manner.
4. Processing sales orders with accuracy and efficiency ensuring proper configuration, pricing and delivery scheduling.
5. Taking ownership for the entire life cycle of the order and project, acting as liaison between departments.
6. Responsible for on-going and regular calls to the customers throughout the project.
7. Provide quotations and communicate with other tendering companies.
8. Having commercial awareness to ensure all sales opportunities are maximised.
9. Produce quotes with accuracy and clarity to ensure that a suitable solution is offered to customers.
10. Partake in customer meetings (In person/Via Teams/Via Phone) to discuss project particulars with a view to securing business.
11. Ensure all quotes are followed up within three days of issue to gain quote feedback (Suitability, pricing, competition) and insight into the project (Such as time scale, stage etc).
12. Work towards increasing the number of Key Accounts.
13. Prepare a monthly forecast to assist with production planning and to maintain awareness of the business pipeline.
14. Work towards KPI's to maintain productivity and meet objectives.
Requirements
1. Hiring manager is open and negotiable to the background and experience. Ideally in ANY of the following; internal sales, customer service, account management, sales, call center etc.
2. Confident with good communication skills to liaise with customers.
3. Self-motivated – The more motivated and active you are within your role, the more success you have in the company.
4. Driven, passionate, enthusiastic and hungry for success.
5. Comfortable with talking to customers over the phone, outbound calling is an essential part of the role.
6. Computer literate.
