Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and every third Saturday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Overtime paid at time and a half)
Job Summary:
Zeal are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic servicing team in Hinckley. The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles. This is a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet and directly contributes to customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and replacements.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used during servicing.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
* Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations while working in the workshop environment.
