Lliswerry High School is a thriving, multi-cultural, 11-18 mixed comprehensive school on the eastern side of Newport close to the M4. We currently have a superb opportunity for a highly motivated, talented and dynamic teacher of Physical Education and Health and Wellbeing to teach girls PE. You will be a key part of our team, delivering inspirational learning to our learners focusing on all aspects of Physical Education.
You will be committed to the ethos of inclusive mixed secondary education and will embed whole school and department teaching and learning strategies to raise attainment across the curriculum.
The successful candidate will be a strong team player who is able to work closely with the Subject Leader (AOLE) and alongside fellow teachers to achieve excellence within our Learning Team. In doing so you will improve outcomes for learners at Lliswerry High School, inspiring our learners through your own passion for health and wellbeing.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:

11. Have experience in, and or, the ability to teach BTEC Sport (KS4 and KS5)
12. Be able to teach and coach a range of sports and physical activities including Football, Dance and Gymnastics. (Be flexible in your willingness to teach boys PE if necessary.)
