Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: NG12, Nottingham
Contract: Full-Time
Salary: £83.85 - £90 Per Day
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Nottingham. You will play a key role in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and helping them thrive both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN
- Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and tailored learning strategies
- Work closely with the class teacher to support students in all aspects of their learning
- Promote positive behaviour and assist with social and emotional development
- Liaise with parents and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for the students
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a school setting
- A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to supporting students
- Good communication skills, both with students and colleagues
- A proactive and nurturing attitude
- An understanding of how to implement specific learning strategies for SEN students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
