Donor Services Assistant Established in 1973, a leading organisation based in Belfast are currently seeking a Donor Services Assistant to join their team. This is a Part-Time, Permanent Position. Working hours: 3 days a week between Monday and Thursday (fully office-based). With a salary of £15,930 per annum (£26,551 pro-rata). Job Role: You will be responsible for the processing of all public income from supporters. This involves the receipt, recording and acknowledgement of donations. The unit also takes responsibility for handling donor queries & complaints to the satisfaction of company supporters. Essential Criteria: At least 1 year experience working with a CRM (Client Relationship Management) or database like Salesforce. Minimum of 5 GCSEs, Grade C or above, including Maths & English or equivalent. Demonstrable experience of customer service and data input. Experience of working in an office environment. IT proficient with experience of using Microsoft Office with Word and Excel essential. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload. Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Reception back up (cover for receptionist) - greet supporters, direct calls, deal with face-to-face queries and accept donations from the public, maintaining the highest possible standards of donor care at all times Deal with queries from supporters via telephone, email, web and post applying the same professional and courteous manner, following Donor Services procedures and policies, including our Data Protection and Safeguarding Policies Timely and accurate preparation and processing of donations, recording all donations and related details on the CRM platform (Salesforce), and ensuring prompt acknowledgments Ensuring all systems for the handling of incoming and outgoing post are maintained Process Standing Orders within the monthly deadline agreed with Finance Process Gift Aid declarations and data in compliance with HMRC's rules and regulations Set up new Direct Debits and processing daily cancellation and amendment files ensuring appropriate acknowledgment Assist with administrative requirements of all campaigns including Gifts, Lent and Committed Giving Provide support with various communications, including mail merges, printing, packing envelopes Demonstrate leadership in area of responsibility agreed Ad hoc administrative support to and as directed by the Donor Services & Centre Lead Skills: Administrator Admin Support Assistant Belfast Permanent Part Time
