Heaton House Farm is an award-winning venue on the Cheshire/Staffordshire border. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated Weddings and Events Catering Coordinator to join Stableyard Catering, the North West's caterer of the year at The Wedding Industry Awards. The role is ideally full-time and permanent based upon 40 hours per week; however, part-time may be considered. You will be based half of the time within the office and the other half on events.

We provide the highest quality catering for a variety of events both onsite and at external venues, delivered with exceptional detail, and with the highest level of customer service.
Responsibilities as our Wedding & Events Catering Coordinator will include:
1. Working alongside our Events Manager and Head Chef in managing all food operations for our events.
2. On-the-day catering coordination/supervision ensuring each event is executed perfectly.
3. Administration of preparing event documentation.
4. Day-to-day office admin and client interaction associated with the role ensuring all enquiries are responded to in a timely and professional manner.
5. Assisting with the creation of the rotas for the waiting-on team.
6. Assisting with the recruiting, training, and development of the waiting-on team.
7. Working closely with other teams to assist with the delivery of all events.
8. Supervising the team to ensure a fantastic guest experience and high level of customer service.
9. Assisting with the planning and delivery of Food & Wine tastings.
10. Assisting with diary management.
11. Suggesting areas for development for the business by seeking out new business opportunities with the support of the Events Manager and Head Chef.
Our Weddings & Events Catering Coordinator will come equipped with the following qualities:
1. A passion for the hospitality industry.
2. Relevant events/catering industry experience or a degree in event or hospitality management.
3. Passionate about food and providing a fantastic customer experience.
4. A keen eye for detail.
5. Demonstrated skills to supervise and manage a team.
6. Confidence in handling high-pressure situations.
7. Flexibility and adaptability.
8. Computer literate with an excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
9. Prepared to work weekends and evenings.
Typical shifts include:
8.30am-5pm on non-event days or 12.30pm-10pm on event days on a rotational basis.
