What You’ll Do As a Document Controller, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth management of project documentation, from creation to final delivery. Your responsibilities will include: Overseeing document control processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the Document Distribution Matrix (DDM). Producing regular reports on document control inboxes. Handling document release, publishing, transmittals, scanning, and library management. Supporting departments with document numbering, metadata application, and adherence to document management procedures. Maintaining and verifying the accuracy of document records. Managing file validation, tracking, and compliance for submissions. Skills and Experience Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a technical environment. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of Document Management Systems (DMS), British Standards, and data protection legislation. Familiarity with electronic file production, retention, and file transfer portals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. The ability to work with technical documents, drawings, and databases. Requirements Be sole British nationals (due to SC Clearance). Be willing to undergo Security Clearance (SC) vetting if not already cleared. The Perks Salary: Up to £39,000 per year (DOE).
