Your chance to join the Diocese of Chelmsford in the newly created role of Data Analyst, you will strategically help to identify and develop opportunities for mission and evangelism in the three Episcopal Areas.
Working hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum

Working with the wider Programme Management Office (PMO) and the Area Bishop and Diocesan Mission Enabler, the Data Analyst work will be a key element of how we walk alongside deaneries and parishes enabling them to discern God’s call to mission in their context, identifying the resources currently available to them and resources that future missional investment funding could bring.
We are seeking an individual who is able to provide useful information and insight to each Episcopal Area as they pursue their vision to further develop mission and measure progress.
ROLE DUTIES
* Analyse the business processes in each department/team of the organisation (including teams across the Diocesan Office, The Episcopal Areas and Archdeacons Offices) to determine the current data processes and the data interactions that take place in achieving their objectives.
* Identify opportunities for efficiency and accuracy improvements with the current business processes by integrating the data into the Diocesan Management System (DMS) and develop proposals for the development of system functionality.
* Develop fresh insights through analysis of quantitative and qualitative data from within the diocese and from external sources.
CRITERIA
* Educated to degree level or qualification in relevant subject or substantial relevant experience.
* Demonstrate significant Data or Business Analyst experience.
* Experience of transforming or digitalising processes in partnership with key stakeholders.
* Managing and organising a range of data sets from multiple sources to enable analysis, presentation, and the identification of synergies.
* Background of delivering insights in support of transformation of organisations specifically seeking spiritual and numerical growth.
