Joining our Roll Shop team as a fitter youll play a crucial part in our production process by preparing, maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment that is used to roll our hot steel. Youll be stripping, building and maintaining roll assemblies as well as fault finding mechanical problems. Experience working in a hands on role is key. As youll be working on mechanical machinery, having a strong mechanical background will be essential. Youll need to be self-motivated, someone who can work efficiently and often under pressure.
