An exciting opportunity has arisen and applications are invited for the post of a fifth whole time Consultant Dermatologist to work in the Dermatology department based at Kettering General Hospital.

There is full general nursing and admin support.
We have a dedicated outpatient area within a large medical centre which has facilities for phototherapy, patch testing, and dressings. There are 2 well-equipped operating rooms which support a strong surgical interest in the department. We treat the majority of all the patients seen with skin cancer within the department. Most of the remaining cases are treated by colleagues within plastic surgery and Maxillofacial surgery. There is a small GPwSI led community service and as the Trust develops the collaborative workstream through Northamptonshire, this role would be expected to support the community work and be prepared to work more within the community as demand requires.
