Kiddykare are seeking a dedicated and passionate Third in charge/ Nursery Room Leader to join a well-established nursery in Henley.Working 40 hours per week.The salary is between £27,000 and £30,000. There is also a £2,500 joining bonus!The nursery is situated in a beautiful area of Henley. Only a short walk to open parks and the river where you can spot for lunch.With great transport links and free parking. The nursery also boasts of it's soft play area and garden.

What youll be doingLead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education to all childrenWhen required, act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead at the nursery, holding overall responsibility for the day to day running of the nursery and management of safeguarding and child protection policiesDevelop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and/or carers, as well as other professionals, to meet the needs of each childWork collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe working environmentPromote the nursery to both current parents, and potential customers, to support retention and ongoing occupancy growth
What were looking forFull and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)Previous experience working within an Early Years setting - ideally as a Third in Charge, Room Leader, Early Years Educator or similarConfident decision maker, with previous experience providing support and leadership to others to enable staff in fulfilling their roles and responsibilitiesStrong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with childrenStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
