Multi-skilled across multiple technologies and product ranges, our engineers possess a wide range of knowledge built up over many years. Customer service oriented and driven to deliver the very best levels of engineering, our engineers take pride in their daily work. This role will report to the Lead Supervisor Engineer. Product training will be provided as required. Travel and working away is a requirement of the role. Key Duties & Responsibilities Install and Commission of our wide range of equipment including, CCTV, Access Control, Wireless P2P & AP, IoT Gateways, Termination and Testing of optical fibre, and system integration with, Fire and Intruder Alarms systems, Public address & Voice Alarm systems. Retrofit upgrades / extensions to existing systems as part of remedial works packages. Provide high levels of customer services. Understanding site plans, to allow installs to take place based on site survey documentation. Complete documentation in line with company standards. Work within strict H&S guidelines. Advise customers on the latest products and services to improve efficiency. Certifications/Qualifications Valid CSCS/ECS Card DBS clearance (for working in public sector environments) IPAF/ PASMA/ Asbestos Awareness certification Recent/current electrical qualifications Full UK driving licence. NRSWA O1 & S1 Qualification and First Aid with Rooftop Recovery would be an advantage. Experience : Must be able to work independently, including lone working, and as part of a team. Flexible and self-motivated Knowledge of industry standard manufacturers preferred (Genetec, Gallagher, Bosch, Milestone, Dahau, Hikvision, Gent, Advanced, PAC, Win-Pak, Veracity,). Previous employment within a BAFE/ SSAIB/ NSI accredited company. Skills : Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills Technical expertise in predominant skillset area Good administration skills with sound working knowledge of business systems and mainstream applications e.g., Microsoft Office 365. Excellent team player and relationship builder Key Accountabilities Ensure assigned work is effectively delivered, completed on time, and to the required quality standards. Ensure all works are recorded using business systems and each job is signed off by the client. Ensure site Health and Safety compliance and escalate any immediate issues to line management. Provide high levels of customer service and ensure the company is always represented professionally.
