Detailed job description and main responsibilities
* Develop an understanding around delivery of medical education projects using appropriate methodology
* Develop a sound understanding of current development and delivery of medical education programmes
* Develop, organise and/or deliver innovative clinical skills courses for doctors within the Trust
* Develop, organise and/or deliver innovative cadaveric courses for doctors within the Trust
* Work with TPDs and Heads of School to develop cadaveric courses to support the learning outcomes of postgraduate doctors in training in the East Midlands
* Gain experience of delivering education in a variety of settings
* Develop and review educational resources to support Clinical Skills and National Repository training
* Contribute to the Clinical Skills Teaching Faculty on a range of courses, with an expectation that you contribute to teaching regularly.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
* MBBS or equivalent. Full GMC registration with a license to practice
* Full GMC Registration with licence to practice in the UK
* ST3+ Postgraduate Doctor in Training or equivalent
Desirable criteria
* ALS or ATLS instructor
* Educational qualification (e.g. PGCert)
Experience
Essential criteria
* Involvement in a quality improvement project
* Twelve months UK experience
* Significant interest in clinical skills and/or National Repository
Desirable criteria
* Experience in delivering medical education
* Previous experience in a leadership role
* Resource development
Communication & relationship skills

Salary: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
