Tango Analytics Europe, AG is seeking an exceptional Pre-sales Solutions Engineer (SE) reporting directly to the Director of Solution Engineering. The SE will work with our Enterprise Sales Team to provide pre-sales technical support and help identifying key customer requirements in order to design a commercially viable solution from within Tango’s suite of applications and deliver a compelling demonstration to the customer.
Tango Analytics Europe, AG is the leader in Store Lifecycle Management and Integrated Workplace Management System software. We unite analytics, real estate, lease accounting, facilities and space management into a single platform. Our platform is built on a modern tech stack that is offered as a cloud-based, multi-tenant offering to the retail and non-retail corporate markets. To date, we have worked with more than 650 of the leading brands in over 130 countries and bring that knowledge and those best practices to our cloud-based SaaS and mobile solutions.
Prior experience working in a similar capacity in the SaaS space is a must.
Your Responsibilities
· To work closely with the sales team in the area of product suitability and service delivery expectations
· To advise on bid/no bid decisions based on technical and commercial considerations
· To articulate (through written submissions and oral presentations) solutions to both technical and non-technical customers
· Support sales efforts with in-depth product and business knowledge
· To maintain a thorough knowledge of the company’s products and service offerings and methodologies
· To work with the product development teams to capture new customer requirements and develop and expand the product portfolio
· To work with the post-sales team in handing over any pre-sales insight and efforts
· Represent the company in a professional manner and build good relationships with clients to the company’s benefit
Ideal Candidate
· 5+ years successful SaaS and/or enterprise software pre-sales technical support experience.
· Technically skilled with a customer focused mind and excellent communication skills
· Experience in developing and delivering effective presentations
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively
· Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
· Willingness to travel within a wide geographical area for client meetings.
· Ability to reach and develop relationships with C-level executives.
· Track record of success working with global, strategic accounts to deliver disruptive technologies.
· Experience engaging with a strategic approach to customer acquisition while executing tactical milestones along the journey.
· Experience in bringing innovative/market defining products to market.
· Strong ability to tell stories showcasing how technology solutions delivered compelling business outcomes to their clients to both a technical and non-technical audience.
· Excellent team player with strong collaboration skills.
· Resilience, self-driven, results orientation, and strong relationship building skills.
· Previous experience working with a competitor in a similar position would be a strong advantage
