Nursery Nurse
Contract Type: Half-Time, Temporary

Pay: £80 to £90 dependent on experience*

Who are you?
* Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent
* Experience working with young children (preferred)
* A caring, patient, and enthusiastic nature
* Knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety practices
* A passion for early years education
What are your responsibilities?
* Work collaboratively with the Nursery School and Daycare team to implement policies and action plans.
* Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment that supports children's holistic development.
* Plan and deliver stimulating activities that meet children's learning needs in line with the EYFS framework.
* Actively engage with children to encourage exploration, learning, and positive social interactions.
* Ensure children's well-being, safety, and discipline, adhering to safeguarding, health & safety, and child protection policies.
* Observe, assess, and maintain accurate records of children's development and achievements.
* Build strong partnerships with parents and carers, valuing their role in their child's growth.
* Foster an inclusive setting that celebrates diversity in language, ability, culture, and background.
* Assist in planning and maintaining an inspiring learning environment, including displays and resources.
* Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
* Liaise with external agencies as needed to support children's welfare and development.
* Support students and work experience placements, offering guidance as required.
* Undertake any additional duties necessary to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and the well-being of the children.
